Rooted in Two Countries.
Reaching Toward More.
Our work today is carried out where we have trusted local leadership. Our vision is not bound to two countries. It reaches wherever the need is great.
We name our places plainly, because specificity builds trust.
We also hold them as a starting point, not a boundary. Morning Star's vision is to bring hope wherever there is suffering, brokenness, or darkness, as doors open and our sister organizations are ready.
Democratic Republic of the Congo
In Kinshasa, Sister Organization Morning Star Center JOSKAMUL carries out the fullest range of our work: child rescue and an orphanage, a school, a clinic and maternity care, and outreach programs and centers. The center also operates a water well that serves the surrounding community.
South Africa
In South Africa, Sister Organization Morning Star Ministries focuses on community outreach and runs community centers that strengthen families and neighborhoods.
A faithful bridge between donors and communities.
Every active program, the school, the orphanage, the clinic and maternity, and the community centers, is Morning Star Center’s own work, developed and carried forward with local leaders we equip to run, lead, and expand it. That shared calling and identity is why our sister organizations carry the Morning Star Center name.
Morning Star (US)
Provides United States governance, stewardship, and support, the accountability donors expect.
Sister Organizations
Sister organizations provide the local leadership and daily delivery that are required for real change on the ground.
Where we are headed.
These two countries are where the mission is rooted today, not the limit of the vision. As God provides and trusted sister organizations are raised up, Morning Star intends to extend hope and light to new communities and countries. We will name a new place here only once the partnership is real, so that what you read is always true.
